English Rugby exhibition in Regent’s Park

O2Scrum.jpg

The English Rugby squad are preparing for the Rugby World Cup, which is being held in September and October. As part of their send-off, there is an exhibition taking place on Sunday, September 2nd in Regent’s Park. It’s called “O2 Scrum in the Park.”

When: 12noon – 6pm. Sunday, September 2nd.

Where: Regent’s Park. Closest Tube stations include: Regent’s Park, Great Portland Street, Baker Street, and Camden Town. These are on the Circle, Jubilee, Bakerloo, Northern, Hammersmith and City, and Metropolitan lines.

Cost: Free!

Why:

You’ll get to meet the England Rugby team, and get autographs. There are rugby skills sessions, face-painting for the kids, bars and concessions, and more! It’s a great afternoon for the family, and should be decent weather, too.

Rugby is a core British sport, and the World Cup is a premiere event. The England squad should be competitive, and this afternoon event should be exciting because of it!
