Christmas lights on Marylebone High Street – see them start!

I recently posted about the Christmas Lights that will kick off on Oxford Street (Wednesday, 7 November.) Those aren’t the only Christmas lights in London, though!

On Thursday, November 15th, lights will turn on with a celebration on Marylebone High Street. Just a short walk from Oxford Street, Marlebone High Street is a more quaint and upscale shopping area. As always, there are fantastic shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants everywhere.

For the Christmas lights event, the area is typically shut down to vehicles, allowing an even more pedestrian-friendly environment than usual. It’s always fun to see Londoners come out and enjoy the holiday spirit. If you can’t make the Oxford Street lighting, I would certainly recommend the Marylebone High Street lighting!

Date: Thursday, 15 November
Time: Exact time not yet published, events start in late afternoon.
Where: Marylebone High Street!

My apologies, you’re completely right. (I don’t remember fireworks from previous years, but I might be getting them mixed up with some of the other areas!)

Based on sunset times, I’m guessing fireworks probably wouldn’t start until 6pm or later, though.
