London can be an expensive place to visit. But, as they say, every little helps.

So take a look at ‘The Loop’, an ezine on the Transport for London website.

As well as containing suggestions for how to enjoy yourself (the December issue carried news of carol concerts and Christmas markets), it contains a number of money-off vouchers. Simply print the coupons off from the internet and take them with you to claim your discount.

Now 20% discount on the food bill at The Distillers doesn’t particularly interest me. But a 2 for 1 ticket offer at the Design Museum is right up my street. (There’s another 2 for 1 offer for the London Transport Museum, but looking at the small print I see it ran out on January 4th. The Design Museum voucher is valid till the 25th.)

Every month there will be new vouchers, so this is definitely an ezine worth checking out. The site also gives you the opportunity to subscribe via e-mail.
